Yana Poplavskaya is a Soviet and Russian actress, TV and radio presenter, lecturer.
Cute girl was born on June 28, 1967 in Moscow. Her father is a journalist and her mother is an actress.
Her debut as an actress was the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the movie About Little Red Riding Hood in 1977. By the way, Yana was 10 years old. At the age of 11, she was awarded the USSR State Prize for the best children’s role.
The girl was fond of artistic gymnastics and was a candidate for master of sports.
She studied at the Shchukin Theater School. In 1987 Yana was expelled as she spent a lot of time starring in the film Prisoner of If Castle in Odessa. But later she finished it.
In 1993, Poplavskaya together with Mikhail Boyarsky, Alisa Freindlikh and Dmitri Kharatyan starred in the film The Secret of Queen Anne, or the Musketeers Thirty Years Later.

Agata Gotova was born on October 14, 1977 in Moscow.
The girl began her career as a child star in the former Soviet Union’s version of The Mickey Mouse Club, the morning show Budilnik (Alarm Clock, 1987).
She spent her childhood touring Europe and performing as part of the famous children’s dance troupe Kalinka and headlined the troupe’s 1989 film Kalinka (1989).
As a teenager, she performed in satirist Mikhail Zhvanetsky’s Political Cabaret.
Then she moved to France and attended the Sorbonne University.
After immigrating to the United States, she worked on a program for Russian Television which focused on celebrity interviews and events. This evolved into the 1999 celebrity interview program, Faces and Names.

Alena Babenko is a Russian film and theater actress, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2013).
Elena Baranova (her maiden name) was born on March 31, 1972 in Kemerovo. In her childhood the girl took part in the festivities, sang in the choir and dreamed of becoming a ballerina. The little girl was a fan of the French singer Edith Piaf.
In 1993 Alena entered the Tomsk State University, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics. There she joined the Student Theater of Variety Miniatures. After the first course, she tried to enter the Moscow Art Theater, but failed. Later Alena met Vitaliy Babenko, a well-known television director in Moscow. So, the girl left the university and came to live in Moscow.
In 2000, Babenko graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK).

Pretty girl was born on January 12, 1971 in Moscow. Father Alexander Khmelnitsky (born on March 1, 1937) and mother Valentina Savina (born on June 6, 1939) danced in the Bolshoi Theater for twenty years. While still working in the theater, Alexander Khmelnitsky began teaching at the dance school. Valentina Savina graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) and became a choreographer. Since 1983, she staged shows at the Fashion House of Vyacheslav Zaitsev. Currently, her parents live and teach in Germany.
In her childhood Alena was engaged in artistic gymnastics and table tennis. By the way, she won several city competitions.
Graduates of the same course were Gosha Kutsenko, Vyacheslav Razbegaev, Ekaterina Semenova, Xenia Entlis and others. While being a student of the second year Alena joined the troupe of the Lenkom Theater. And in 1990-1994 she played Konchita in the play Juno and Avos. At the same time, she acted in films.

Maria Varum (her real name) was born on May 26, 1969 in Lvov, USSR into a creative family. Her father Yuri Varum was a composer, and her mother Galina Shapovalova worked as a theater director. The parents toured a lot, so the little girl was brought up by her grandmother. Her father was totally against Soviet music schools and taught his daughter himself. Maria began playing the piano at the age of five. She was a very talented girl and even toured with the school theater group.
After school Maria went to Moscow to study at the Theatre Institute. However, she failed exams and worked as a backing vocalist in her father’s studio.
In 1990, Anzhelika recorded the song Midnight Cowboy, which became a hit. The singer participated in the TV program Morning Star with the same song.

Tatiana Konyukhova is a Soviet actress, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1964), People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1991).
Pretty girl was born on November 12, 1931 in Tashkent, USSR, into in a military family.
In 1946, Tatyana’s father was sent to work in Latvia, and the Konyukhov family moved to Riga. Later, in 1949, she came to Moscow to enter the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Her classmates were Isolda Izvitskaya, Maya Bulgakova, Nadezhda Rumyantseva, Rufina Nifontova, Yuri Belov, Mikhail Semenikhin. You know, she performed with her own concert program and recited the poems of Marina Tsvetaeva and Anna Akhmatova.
Being a student of the second year, she made her debut in Alexander Rowe’s film May Night or the Drowned. The actress played brilliantly, but wasn’t able to voice her character.
By the way, in 1950s Tatiana was the most popular film actress.
In 1955 she graduated from the University and worked at the Maly Theater.
