Agata Gotova
Agata Gotova was born on October 14, 1977 in Moscow.
The girl began her career as a child star in the former Soviet Union’s version of The Mickey Mouse Club, the morning show Budilnik (Alarm Clock, 1987).
She spent her childhood touring Europe and performing as part of the famous children’s dance troupe Kalinka and headlined the troupe’s 1989 film Kalinka (1989).
As a teenager, she performed in satirist Mikhail Zhvanetsky’s Political Cabaret.
Then she moved to France and attended the Sorbonne University.
After immigrating to the United States, she worked on a program for Russian Television which focused on celebrity interviews and events. This evolved into the 1999 celebrity interview program, Faces and Names.
She is the star of the current motion picture, Say It in Russian, and she also played the lead female role in Never Submit.
