Natalya Seleznyova
Natalya Seleznyova is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (1996).
Pretty girl was born on June 19, 1945 in Moscow. Her father, Igor Seleznyov, was known photographer in the Soviet Union, and her mother, Elena Polinkovskaya was a popular artist. The family’s favorite writer was Leo Tolstoy, and the girl was named in honor of Natasha Rostova.
When the girl was only 6 years old, the famous actor Mikhail Mayorov invited her to the Soviet Army Theater. Little girl got the role of the main character in the play Thirty Pieces of Silver, which the young actress performed for 3 years in a row.
Because of the filming in the movies, the girl had to change schools several times. One year Natasha even studied in Leningrad and lived with her mother in a hotel. After graduating from school in 1963, the girl entered the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. Then Seleznyova became an actress of the Moscow Academic Satire Theater. Anatoly Papanov, Andrei Mironov and Spartak Mishulin performed in the same theater.
