Mashkov appeared in the fourth season of Alias as a terrorist leader named Milos Kradich, who led the subversive activities across Europe. Series creator J.J. Abrams noticed Mashkov for the upcoming fourth part of Mission Impossible.

The great Russian actor, who starred in the comedy Gentlemen of Fortune and Ivan Vasilievich, had to emigrate to the United States and satisfy unremarkable roles in Hollywood. He played the role of a Yugoslav taxi driver in The Fall Guy, where brave heroes caught the criminals during the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.

Russian Mary Poppins also left her mark on American television – she starred in Undead, a horror film about vampires, in the TV series Dr. Quinn and NYPD Blue. In Dr. Quinn Andreychenko played a role of Russian princess Nizimova having psychic abilities.

Soviet actor with roles from a scout in Seventeen Moments of Spring to the emperor in Turkish Gambit went to Los Angeles in the 90s. Among his achievements in Hollywood there are roles in the films Lord of War and Iron Man 2, and in the TV series The West Wing, Alias and 24 – where his partner was Dennis Hopper.
