Maria Syomkina is a Russian film actress and model.
The girl was born on October 26, 1976 in Rostov-on-Don into a family of mathematician and engineer. Nine years after Masha’s birth, her younger sister was born.
Pretty Syomkina graduated from the Rostov State Institute of National Economy. In 1998, Maria sent her photos to Image-Elite modeling agency and took the first place in the beauty contest. Later she won the title of Rostov Beauty. Soon Syomkina went to the capital, where she was invited by Modus VivendiS. Awesome girl worked as a fashion model, participated in Fashion Weeks. Also she worked in France, Germany (lived in Munich), South Korea and Japan.
Her photos appeared in such magazines as Playboy and MAXIM. By the way, she was a three-time Girl of the Month in Playboy (October – 2000, July – 2001 and April – 2006). And in 2000 Maria was named Model of the Year. Later, in October 2011, she became Girl of the Month in MAXIM.

From 2006 to 2010 Maria was the official model of Rostov garment firm Alice.
Amazing girl debuted in the film Solitude of Blood directed by Roman Prygunov in 2002. Then she played the role of a TV journalist Svetlana Berezkina in the melodrama Doomed to Become a Star. Also Maria appeared in the joint Russian-Argentine project In the Rhythm of Tango, where her partners were Andrei Smolyakov and Argentine star Natalia Oreiro.
In addition, she played in the drama My Husband is a Genius (2008) about the fate of the Soviet scientist Lev Landau (played by Daniil Spivakovsky).
But the role of Oksana Fedotova, a touching and glamorous wife of the oligarch in the comedy sitcom Daddy’s Daughter brought her a real popularity.
Together with Oleg Taktarov, Maria played in the criminal film The Keeper. In a duet with Ekaterina Kopanova she appeared in a modern version of Cinderella in the melodramatic comedy Cream. Mikhail Galustyan was her partner in the family fantasy That’s Karloson. Also she played the main roles in the criminal film Inspector Cooper, romantic comedy House in the Heart and the humorous film Kings Can Everything together with comedian Maxim Galkin.
In 2011, Maria graduated from the Shchukin Theater School.
To date Syomkina has played more than thirty roles in films and TV series.
The actress participated in the TV project Dancing with the Stars, where her partner was Andrei Karpov.
Beautiful Maria was married for seven years, but then the couple broke up. The actress has son Mikhail. In the mid-2000s, the actress got married for the second time.
