Elena Zakharova
Elena Zakharova is a Russian theater and film actress.
Pretty girl was born on November 2, 1975 in Moscow. In her childhood Elena danced in choreographic ensemble Buratino.
At school, she liked Russian language, Literature and foreign languages, but was not good at mathematics. She wanted to become a fashion model and an actress.
During her studies at the Shchukin Theater School she played in the film Comedians’ Shelter by Alexander Alexandrov. After graduating in 1998, Elena began to work at the Moon Theatre. Since then, the actress constantly participates in performances. She played in the productions The Travel of Dilettantes and Mata Hari: Eyes of the Day.
The TV series The Fifth Corner, which was released in 2001, brought her fame. Young actress was invited to take part in various TV projects. For example, in 2005 Zakharova took part in the reality show Empire. Then she participated in the TV shows including Stars on Ice (2006) and Dancing with the Stars (2009).
According to Elena she liked her role in the TV series Kadetstvo. A significant role in the popular TV series made Elena a popular movie actress. In total she starred in more than seventy films during 20 years of her career.
She received the Gatchina Film Festival prize for her role in Tartarin of Tarascon. By the way, she was awarded the Seagull Theatre Award for the role of Ophelia in Hamlet directed by Peter Stein in 1999. In the same year she received Discovery of the Year award.

Personal life
In September 2010 the actress married Sergei Mamontov, CEO of Systematic Software Solutions (Russia). Their daughter Anna Maria was born in February 2011. Unfortunately, eight months later the baby died and the couple divorced.
In early December 2017, Elena gave birth to her daughter.
