Nonna Grishaeva – Russian actress
Nonna Grishaeva is a Russian film and theater actress, singer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2006).
Nonna has the right to be proud of her ancestors. Her great-grandfather and great-grandmother sang at La Scala. Another great-grandfather was a professor at the Novorossiysk University.
Nonna was born on July 21, 1971 in Odessa, Soviet Union. She grew up in her native Odessa, studied at the ballet school, tried her hand at theater and dreamed of becoming a brilliant actress.
9-year-old Nonna played her first leading role in the Odessa Theater of Operetta.
After school Grishaeva went to Moscow to enter the Theater Institute. However, her mother didn’t want to leave her young daughter alone in a strange big city. So Nonna had to come back and entered the School of Music. At the first winter holidays the future actress returned to the Russian capital. She and her classmates staged Christmas musical fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea”. At the Roman Viktyuk Theater Odessa troupe played 53 performances. Grishaeva persuaded her mother to let her go to the capital and in summer she entered Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute.
The young actress worked in Vakhtangov Theatre, starred in movies while being pregnant. In the sixth month of pregnancy Nonna starred in three films: The Countess de Monsoreau, First Strike and Place on the Earth. She didn’t tell Jackie Chan, the director of the blockbuster First Strike about her pregnancy. As Jackie learned about the pregnancy of the actress he was amazed and exclaimed “You are a very professional actress!”.
Grishaeva played a lot of roles in the theater, but was waiting for the role of Denise in the musical “Mademoiselle Nitouche” for almost 10 years. And she was very glad to get it.
The actress played a major role in the popular sitcom Daddy’s Daughter.
Since 2008 she is a member of the popular show Big Difference, where she makes parody on such celebrities as Sofia Rotaru, Zemfira, Larissa Guzeyeva, Arina Sharapova, Tina Kandelaki and others.
In 2009 Grishaeva with singer and composer Mark Tishman won the third season of Music Competition Star.
On March 3, 2010 she presented her book “Advice for daughters”.
She sang several songs: Night Again, Summer, The branch of lilac, Falling Up, Platinum Paradise, Comme toi. Her solo album was released in 2012.
She starred in many films such as Election Day (2007), Radio Day (2008), What Men Talk About (2010) and All Inclusive (2011) and many others.
In 1994, the actress graduated from the institute and on the third day after graduation she got married. Anton Derov, musician and actor, became her husband. After seven years of marriage Nonna and Anton divorced. They have a daughter Anastasia. After parting with her husband the actress decided not to marry.
Then Grishaeva had a love affair with a businessman. After three years the couple broke up. The reason was very simple, the man had a love affair with Nonna’s friend.
In 2006, the actress fell in love with actor Alexander Nesterov, who is 12 years younger. Their marriage took place in the Czech capital. In 2007 Grishaeva gave birth to son Ilya.
