Elena Semikina – Miss Universe Canada 2010
Elena Semikina, a girl from the USSR, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2010 in Toronto, Ontario and on August 23, 2010 she represented Canada at the Miss Universe beauty pageant held in Las Vegas, America.
Elena became the third Russian girl, who won Miss Universe Canada. In 2005 Natalia Glebovabecame the first beauty of Canada and in 2007 Inga Skaya received the title.
Russian beautiful girl Elena was born on September 8, 1983 in Moldavia, USSR. She is a Canadian actress and film producer. Semikina studied Marketing and Finance in Toronto. Elena’s debut role was in the film Three Days in Havana, where she played together with Gil Bellows, Don McKellar, and Kathleen Robertson. She also appeared in Gitaskog. Semikina was a competition judge at Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow, Russia.
Russian Canadian beauty queen Natalie Glebova won the Miss Universe 2005 pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand in June 2005.
Glebova was born in Tuapse, Soviet Union. The girl won various regional rhythmic gymnastics championships. At the age of 13 she together with her parents immigrated to Toronto, Canada. Glebova worked as a model and received her Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology Management and Marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto. In December 2012 Natalia competed in reality TV show “Dancing with the Stars Thailand”. In February 2007, Natalia’s first book “Healthy Happy Beautiful” became a best seller. On July 23, 2006, Glebova crowned Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza of Puerto Rico as her successor in Los Angeles.
Inga Skaya was crowned Miss Universe Canada in 2007 and represented her country in the Miss Universe pageant. The girl was born on January 7, 1986 in Moscow, Soviet Union. Before participating in Miss Universe Canada 2007, Inga took part in Miss Matryoshka 2006, a beauty pageant for women of Eastern European descent, where she took the third place.
