22-year-old Anzhelika Pomitun was chosen as the most beautiful girl of Crimea. Miss Crimea 2014, the first beauty pageant of the Russian republic, was held on September 12 in the Crimean hotel complex Respect Hall in Yalta. Now the girl will represent the Republic of Crimea at the national beauty contest – Miss Russia. There were 30,000 girls who desired to take part in the contest, but only 20 of them entered the final round. There were the most beautiful girls from Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kerch, Yalta and Evpatoria (Yevpatoria).
Natalia Rogozina, world champion in boxing, Maria Butyrskaya – Russian figure skater, three-time European champion, six-time champion of Russia, and Arina Novoselskaya, the Minister of Culture of Crimea, were the members of the jury. They were headed by the famous Russian “Mata Hari” – Anna Chapman, who gave the contestants dresses from her designer collection. Chapman chose a few girls, whom she plans to use in photo shoots and her fashion brand promotion.

Before the final round the girls spent two weeks in the training camp, where they worked with choreographers and ballet masters. As charitable activities they visited a nursing home and refugees from Ukraine.
Anzhelika received not only a crown but 100 000 rubles, a ticket to Europe, jewelry and the opportunity to sign a contract with a foreign model agencies.
Valeria Voronova from Sevastopol became Vice-Miss Crimea and Anastasia Pavlenko from Yalta received the title of Second Vice-Miss Crimea.

Anzhelika was born in a town near Simferopol into the family of a housewife and a private entrepreneur. At the age of 7 she was engaged in athletics.
The beautiful girl studied at two Crimean universities, at the Faculty of Management and the Institute of Physical Culture.
On January 14, 2012 Anzhelika became the first Vice-Queen of the Crimea. On April 25, 2012 she won Queen of Ukraine 2012 title and got the right to represent Ukraine at the Miss Model of the World 2012, where she took the second place. In 2013 the beautiful girl won the title of Miss Princess of the Globe.
