Irina Grineva, actress
Irina Grineva is a Russian film and theatre actress.
Pretty girl was born on February 6, 1973 in Kazan. The little girl dreamed of becoming an actress. Her mother played in the theater when she was young, but quit her career because of the family. Therefore, after school, the girl went to the capital to enter the theater institute.
Unfortunately, the first attempt was unsuccessful. So, she entered the Yaroslavl State Theater Institute. After graduation in 1994, the young actress went to conquer Moscow again. As a result, she entered the School of Dramatic Art.
Her first theatrical role the actress played in 1995 in the play Hopscotch directed by Vladimir Ageyev. For this role she received Best Newcomer award at the festival dedicated to Vladimir Vysotsky.
In 1998, she joined the Stanislavsky Theater. By the way, she acted in many plays including Hamlet, Twelfth Night, The Millionaire, Boris Godunov and others.
And in the same year Irina made her film debut in the movie Impostors.
Actually, the actress played in many films including Passenger Without Luggage, Station, My Personal Enemy, Always Say Always. The role of Lisa Subbotina in the TV series Only You directed by Nana Jorjadze brought her huge popularity.
The actress played in many significant films that brought her prestigious awards. So, in 2002, Grineva was awarded the Best Actress of the TV Series prize for her role in Impostors. And in 2005 Irina received the Image of the Year award.
Along with Grigory Leps Irina took part in the show Two Stars on the First Channel.
Currently, she acts in various theaters as a guest artist, plays in films, writes poems, fairy tales, draws a lot. Also the actress is fond of fencing.
Film director Andrei Zvyagintsev was her first husband.
On December 20, 2010 Irina married Maxim Shabalin. He is World Figure Skating Champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia. You know, Maxim is 9 years younger than the actress. Their daughter Vasilisa was born on July 6, 2013.
