Alena Sviridova, singer, actress, TV host

Alena Sviridova (her maiden name is Leonova) is a Russian singer, actress and television host. By the way, she is Honored Artist of Russia (2004).
Pretty girl was born on August 14, 1958 in Kerch, USSR. However, in her own blog on Live Journal Alena says that she was born on August 14, 1962. Her father Valentin Vyacheslavovich Leonov (1937-2001) was a military pilot. And her mother Vera Burianova was a philologist and worked on radio. The singer has a younger brother Alexei Valentinovich Leonov.
She graduated from the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute.
In 1993 Alena was invited to Moscow by Yuri Ripyah. At the contest Song-93 she reached the final with the song Just Ended the Winter. In the same year she received a Golden Apple prize at the Generation 93 festival.
You know, Sviridova’s music video for the song Pink Flamingo won the 1st place in 1994 on BIZ-TV channel. In total, the singer released 7 music albums.

Alena played in the musicals Moonlight and Three Musketeers.
And she was a host of the program Harem in Kenya.
To tell the truth, Alena has won three Golden Gramophone awards: 1996 – Bednaya Ovechka (Poor Lamb), 1999 – Oh, 2001 – My Heart.
In November 1999 and March 2008, her candid photos were published in the Playboy magazine.
In the film Love Is Evil (1998) the singer sang the song True Male Love.
Since 2016 Sviridova is a member of the Public Council for the Construction of the Crimean Bridge.

Personal life
In 1980, she married Sergei Sviridov, who now lives in Canada. Her son Vasily was born in 1983. He is a programmer and lives in Canada together with his father.
In 1998 Alena married a US citizen, an employee of the American Embassy in the Russian Federation, Henry Peacock. The wedding took place on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean Sea.
From 2003 to 2007 Sviridova lived together with male model Dmitri Miroshnichenko. Their son Grigory was born on January 5, 2004.
On September 28, 2012 during the TV show Let Them Talk Alena introduced her boyfriend 36-year-old David Vardanian. The new boyfriend is 16 years younger than the singer.
