Yulia Takshina is a Russian film and theater actress, former dancer.
Beautiful girl was born on July 9, 1980 in Belgorod, USSR. Her father was a plant worker, and her mother worked as an editor in the publishing house. Yulia was an active child and played roles in the school theater. When the girl was 7 years old she joined the Contemporary Theater, where her elder brother Vladimir danced. In addition, Yulia was engaged in ballroom dancing.
While studying at high school Takshina wrote articles, which were published in various local publications.
After school Yulia went to Moscow to enter the faculty of journalism at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), but did not score the required number of points. The girl decided to enter the Moscow State University. You know, she did not study for a long time and left the university after a year and a half.
As a result, Takshina decided to become a professional actress. In 2006 the girl graduated from the Shchukin Theater Institute.
The career of the actress began not with the roles in films and popular TV shows. The girl together with a dance team toured the country, and once she was noticed by Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov. At that moment he offered Takshina a place in the dance group Diamond Girls. Then the girl worked as a model and her photos were on many covers of glossy magazines. Also she starred in music videos for Dmitry Malikov’s songs.
The role of Vika Klochkova in the TV series Not Born Beautiful brought her popularity.
In 2010 Takshina starred in the romantic comedy Inadequate People, which received numerous film awards.
Later, in 2013, the actress worked in nine projects.
Then, in 2014, Yulia played a major role in the TV series Let’s Kiss on 1 + 1 channel.
In 2015, the actress played in the miniseries Murder for Three, a screen version of the ironic detective by Natalia Alexandrova.
In total, Takshina’s filmography includes more than forty films and TV series. Recently the actress has finished filming in the Ukrainian film To Hear the Music of the Soul.
In 2016, the actress played a major role in the Ukrainian comedy melodrama Baby Boom. And in the same year, Yulia played in two more Ukrainian projects Forbidden Love and Crossroads.
From 2005 to 2011 Yulia was in relationship with actor Grigoriy Antipenko. They starred together in the TV series Not Born Beautiful. They have two sons, Ivan (born on June 27, 2007) and Fyodor (born on July 3, 2009).
