Sergey Zverev – hairdresser, singer
Sergey Zverev is a Russian hairdresser, stylist, singer and showman. He calls himself the King of Glamour. By the way, he is a master and the only member of the reality show about his everyday life Full Fashion (Muz-TV) and Star in a cube (MTV), Stars in fashion (RU.TV).
The boy was born on July 19, 1963 in Kultuk (Irkutsk region) into the family of a railway worker. After his father’s death (in a motorcycle accident) the family moved to Ust-Kamenogorsk, in Kazakhstan. Sergey was only four.
After school, Zverev attended a hairdressing college and received diplomas in three specialties: hairdressing, decorative make-up and clothing design.
You know, in 1979 Zverev got into the modeling business. He studied at the Paris fashion house while working there.
In the 1980s, he served in the Soviet Armed Forces in Poland, where Sergey was Platoon Deputy Commander.
Sergey opened his first salon in the early 1990s. In 1996-1998 Zverev won a series of international competitions and became the European Hairdressing Champion and the World Hairdressing Champion.
Now he manages Moscow beauty salon Celebrity and is the director of the Sergey Zverev salon.
Once in an interview Sergey simply said: “I am a superstar.”
The first “star” client of Zverev was Tatyana Vedeneeva. You know, the most well-known of his clients are famous Russian singer Alla Pugacheva and her ex-husband Philip Kirkorov. Besides, Zverev devoted his first song Alla to her, as his patroness and muse. Also he worked with Laima Vaikule, Valery Leontiev, Ksenia Sobchak, Lyudmila Gurchenko and Irina Ponarovskaya.
His first album The Star is Shocked was released in 2007. And Zverev received four national Ovation music awards (Russia’s equivalent of the US Grammy).
His most famous songs are Alla, Dolce and Gabbana, Two Souls, Fierce Love. The last two songs were performed along with Irina Bilyk.
Also Sergey starred in several films: Paparazzi (2006), Alice’s Dreams (2006-2007), Club (2006-2009), Waiting for the Miracle (2007), O Lucky Man! (2009), Best Movie (2011).
And what about Zverev’s appearance? The reasons for such an extreme transformation of his face are not clear. There are rumors that in the late 1990s Sergey had an accident, which greatly damaged his face, and doctors did their best to save it. The most common version is that the star just wanted to look better and became a victim of bad plastic surgeons.
Personal life
Zverev was officially married 4 times. In 1995 he had a love affair with singer Natalia Vetlitskaya.
Sasha Project (Oksana Kabunina) was his wife in 2004-2005, and then he stole her song Heaven.
Sergey was together with Juliana Lukasheva, the ex-lead singer of the group Blestyashchie. However, the couple broke up, because Sergey preferred the singer Paola.
Irina Bilyk left her husband because of Zverev in 2010, but then they broke up.
Zverev’s son was born on August 25, 1993. The name of the boy’s mother was a mystery to the general public, and, according to various sources, she died when Sergey Junior was very small. However, in 2018 it turned out that Zverev wasn’t a biological father of the boy.
