Natalie Glebova — Russian Canadian Miss Universe

Natalie Glebova is a Russian Canadian beauty queen who has won the title Miss Universe 2005.
Beautiful girl was born on November 11, 1981 in Tuapse, Krasnodar region, Russia. She is a classical pianist and also has won various regional gymnastics championships.
In 1996 her family moved to Canada. After school Natalie entered the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information. At the same time her parents were offered a job in the U.S. city of Boston. Natasha was left alone. The girl was very sad and her friends offered to participate in Miss Canada 2005 contest.
Glebova, inspired by Oxana Fedorova’s victory, who became the most beautiful girl in the world in 2002, decided to try her luck… After the victory Natasha got a lot of marriage proposals. But the girl refused to marry tycoons, known producers and film actors.

A few months later she participated in Miss Universe, which was held in Bangkok in June 2005. And she won it! Her victory was the second in the history of Canada: Karen Diane Baldwin won the Miss Universe pageant in 1982.
After the contest, Natalie met 26-year-old tennis player Paradorn Srichaphan, who became the first Asian to take a place in the top ten tennis players of the world in 2003. Paradorn wasn’t going to get married, but he met Natasha. The athlete fell in love with extremely beautiful, blue eyed girl with pearly smile.
“Lyublyu” (love) was the first Russian word he learned. On the Thai New Year tennis player presented Russian beauty with a diamond ring, elegant necklace and earrings (jewelry cost half a million dollars) and made a marriage proposal.
On November 29, 2007 their wedding took place. There were more than a thousand guests there. Together with her husband, Glebova owns an advertising agency and a restaurant.

Prior to competing at Miss Universe, Glebova worked as a model and received her Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology Management and Marketing at Ryerson University in Toronto. Also she has worked as a motivational speaker for grade school and high school students. Moreover, Natalie has become the Diamond Ambassador for Canadian Ice Diamond Collection in 2012.
Besides, she is the founder and president of the Fah Glebova International, which produces cosmetics.
In 2013, Natasha took part in the TV show Dancing with the Stars-Thailand.
Maya Kelly Glebova, daughter of Glebova and Dean Kelly, Mr. Panama 2001, was born on April 9, 2016.
