Ksenia Sobchak is a Russian TV and radio host, actress and socialite. She is best known for her stint as a presenter of the reality show Dom-2 (TNT), Blonde in Chocolate (Muz-TV), The Last Hero (Channel One). The girl has played more than a dozen roles in films and television series. By the way, she is an author of five books.
Perhaps, she is one of the most talked about persons in Russia.
Ksenia was born on November 5, 1981 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) into a family of lawyer Anatoly Sobchak, who was the first democratically-elected mayor of St. Petersburg from 1991 to 1996, and historian Lyudmila Narusova. It is interesting that under the leadership of Anatoly Sobchak such major political figures as Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev worked.
As a child, Ksenia studied ballet at the Mariinsky Theatre and painting at the Hermitage.
In 2000, Sobchak moved to Moscow, where she studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). She speaks English, French and Spanish.

In 1999, Sobchak met Vyacheslav Leibman, chairman of an energy company. Now the businessman lives in Montenegro. They met at one of the St. Petersburg nightclubs. But the couple parted because Sobchak suspected that her boyfriend had a love affair with ballerina Anastasia Volochkova.
In 2001, the girl had a bright romance with Umar Dzhabrailov, hotelier and politician. They say it was just PR.
In the summer of 2005 Ksenia was going to marry American businessman Alexander Shusterovich. However, a few days before the ceremony, Sobchak called off the wedding.
Ksenia and Dmitry Savitsky, CEO of Silver Rain radio station, lived together for about three years. It was one of her longest love affairs. In 2009 they broke up.
In the same year in France she had a holiday romance with Oleg Malis, vice-president of Alfa Telecom and co-owner of Euroset. The affair was short-lived, but bright.
In 2010 Ksenia and Eugene Papunaishvili got acquainted while filming the TV show Dancing With The Stars. For about six months they lived together in Ksenia’s apartment.
Ksenia and Sergei Kapkov, head of the Department of Culture of Moscow and former State Duma deputy, were together for about a year.
In 2012 Sobchak had a love affair with Ilya Yashin. They met at the meeting on Bolotnaya Square and were fascinated by each other.
