Kirill Vasilev, fashion model
Kirill Vasilev is a fashion model from Russia. For several years he travels between Europe and Asia.
The boy was born in Yekaterinburg. He began his modeling career at the age of 19. You know, he walked for Burberry Prorsum, Damir Doma, Lanvin, Alexander Mcqueen and many others. The model appeared on the pages of Dazed & Confused, Bon, 10 Men and Contributing Editor.
“I never thought I’d be a model. My friends sent my photos to the Moscow agency and I was invited to take part in the fashion catalog shoot in London. I worked in Paris and Milan, and then went to Japan for the first time.
My first show was the presentation of the brand Top Man in London. I asked a stylist, what I should do and he said: “Just go, do what you want. You just have to feel comfortable.” I argued that in Russia models are taught to put their feet in a special way, parallel to each other. He said, “Come on, are you kidding? Relax and make yourself comfortable.”
I live like everyone else: go to work, like to read a good book in the evening and listen to music. I try to eat healthy food, sometimes cook myself. I even was a vegetarian.
My life is like a vacation. Yes, my agent chooses job for me, but I make a decision where to go next. If I want I’ll buy a ticket and come home or go to any other country.”
