Tatiana Golovin, French tennis player


Tatiana Golovin is an inactive French professional tennis player. Now she lives in the USA.
Pretty girl was born on January 25, 1988 in Moscow. Her parents moved to France when she was only 8 months.
She is best known for her explosive forehand, which was said to be one of the best at the time. Together with Richard Gasquet 16-year-old Tatiana won the 2004 French Open mixed doubles event. Also Tatiana reached the singles quarterfinal at the 2006 U.S. Open, losing to the champion Maria Sharapova.
However, in 2008, she was diagnosed with lower back inflammation and was forced to stop playing competitive tennis.
Golovin spent six years at Nick Bollettieri’s tennis camp in Bradenton, Florida. She is currently coached by former World No. 1 Mats Wilander. Previously she was coached by Brad Gilbert and Dean Goldfine.

Yuliya Chepalova is a Russian cross-country skier, Honored Master of Sports of Russia. Moreover, she is a champion of the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Olympic Games. By the way, she is the only Russian skier of the first decade of the XXI century, who managed to win the World Cup (season 2000/01).
She was born on December 23, 1976 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Chepalova started to ski as soon as she began to walk. Her father was a cross-country skiing coach.
By the way, Yuliya made her debut in 1986. Chepalova is currently affiliated with Dynamo Moscow.
Now she lives in Syktyvkar with her second husband, Vassili Rotchev and her daughter Olesya, and their daughter Vaselina who was born in February 2007.
The athlete had success at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, with golds in the 4.5 km (2001) and 7.5 km + 7.5 km double pursuits (2005), silvers in the 4.5 km and 10 km freestyle (both 2005), and bronzes in the Individual sprint (2001) and Team sprint (2005).

Ekaterina Bobrova is a Russian ice dancer. Together with her partner Dmitri Soloviev, she is the 2014 Olympic champion in the team competition and 2013 European champion. By the way, they are three-time European Championships silver medalists (2011, 2012, 2018), seven-time champions of Russia and 2007 World Junior champions. Also they were gold medalists at two Grand Prix events, the 2010 Cup of Russia and 2011 Cup of China. Moreover, they are two-time bronze medalists of European championships 2016 and 2017. Ekaterina is Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
On October 22, 2017 the pair Bobrova-Soloviev was the 1st in the rating of the International Skating Union (ISU).
Pretty girl was born on March 28, 1990 in Moscow. Her mother was a member of the USSR national team in athletics, the father was engaged in skiing, and her sister in acrobatic rock and roll. At the age of 4 Ekaterina began skating.

Olga Kaniskina is a Russian race walker. She won the silver medal in the 20 km walk at the 2006 European Championships and gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Also she won the 20 km walk at the 2008 IAAF World Race Walking Cup, setting a Championship record of 1:25:42.
Pretty girl was born on January 19, 1985 in the Soviet Union. When Olga was 8 years old, her mother died. The girl participated in numerous youth regional and national competitions. By the age of 18 she already had the title of Master of Sports.
She graduated from the Mordovia State University, Mathematics Department.

Vera Dushevina is a Russian professional female tennis player, Honored Master of Sports of Russia. She is a semifinalist of two Grand Slam mixed doubles (Wimbledon 2013, 2014). In addition, she is the winner of three WTA tournaments (one – in singles) and Federation Cup winner (2005) in the national team of Russia. By the way, she is the former first racket of the world in the junior singles rankings and winner of the junior Grand Slam singles titles (Wimbledon 2002). Also Vera is the finalist of the junior Grand Slam singles titles (Roland Garros-2003). Moreover, she is a semifinalist of the Junior Grand Slam singles titles (Roland Garros-2002) and a single winner of Orange Bowl tournament (2002).
The girl was born on October 6, 1986 in Moscow. She is one of two daughters of Yevgeny and Elena Dushevina; her sister’s name is Sonia.
Dushevina began playing tennis at the age of seven. Her first coach was her father Yevgeny.

Marina Anisina is a talented figure skater, well known in Russia and France. Together with her partner Gwendal Peizerat, she became the 2000 World Champion and 2002 Olympic Champion.
Pretty girl was born on August 30, 1975 in Moscow into a family of known figure skater Irina Chernyaeva and hockey player Vyacheslav Anisin. Her younger brother Mikhail is also a hockey player. Little girl began skating at the age of four.
At the beginning of her career Marina was paired with Ilya Averbukh. They won gold medals at the World Figure Skating Championships in 1990 and 1992 representing the Soviet Union. But their partnership ended in 1992. Averbukh decided to skate with Irina Lobacheva, because he had fallen in love with her. Then Anisina skated with Sergei Sakhnovski. But Sakhnovsky moved to Israel, where he became Galit Chait’s partner. So, Anisina had to train alone for a while, because there wasn’t any right partner for her in Russia.
