Tatiana Golovin, French tennis player
Tatiana Golovin is an inactive French professional tennis player. Now she lives in the USA.
Pretty girl was born on January 25, 1988 in Moscow. Her parents moved to France when she was only 8 months.
She is best known for her explosive forehand, which was said to be one of the best at the time. Together with Richard Gasquet 16-year-old Tatiana won the 2004 French Open mixed doubles event. Also Tatiana reached the singles quarterfinal at the 2006 U.S. Open, losing to the champion Maria Sharapova.
However, in 2008, she was diagnosed with lower back inflammation and was forced to stop playing competitive tennis.
Golovin spent six years at Nick Bollettieri’s tennis camp in Bradenton, Florida. She is currently coached by former World No. 1 Mats Wilander. Previously she was coached by Brad Gilbert and Dean Goldfine.
