Yevgeniya Kanayeva is a Russian rhythmic gymnast, Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2008). By the way, she is a two-time Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics in 2008 and 2012. On August 15 of the same year in Tallinn she broke her own record with the result 77.80 m.

In 1999 Chicherova won the World Youth Championship in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz with the result of 1.89 m. In 2000, she took the 4th place at the World Junior Championships in Santiago, Chile.
