Anna Netrebko, opera singer


Anna Netrebko is one of the most famous and popular opera singers in modern Russian history. Her voice is admired by millions of viewers. The beautiful girl sang at the best world’s concert halls and has a lot of awards. She was nicknamed La Bellissima by fans.
Pretty girl was born on September 18, 1971 in Krasnodar. Her father worked as an engineer, and her mother was a geologist. Anna has a sister, who works as a model and lives in Denmark.
As a schoolgirl Netrebko became a soloist of the musical group Kuban Pioneers. After school Anna went to Leningrad, where she entered the School of Music. Two years later the girl entered the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory.
By the way, she won the All-Russian Singing Competition, which took place in Smolensk.
Her first role was in the play The Marriage of Figaro. The director was very surprised when he found out that the talented girl had already worked for two years in his theater… as a cleaner. Thus, in 1994, Anna made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre. A few years later Netrebko became one of the leading soloists of the theater.

Bianca is a Russian R&B performer and producer. She called her style Russian Folk R’n’B because Russian folk musical instruments (balalaika, accordion) are used in her performances.
The real name of the beautiful singer is Tatiana Lipnitskaya. She was born on September 17, 1985 in Minsk, Belorussia. Bianca was attracted by music since her childhood. At the age of 10 she started singing in the choir, and then joined the ensemble. At the age of 14, the girl wrote her first song.
In 2001, Tatiana received the Grand Prix at the international contest of young singers – Malva. Then she won the first prize at the festival of young singers and dancers – Belaya Rus.
Later, Bianca became a soloist of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time, she wrote songs and gave concerts. You know, she performs her own songs. 17-year-old ambitious girl went on tour to Germany.

Tamara Karsavina was loved, respected and admired. You know, she was always away from any kind of intrigue. In her youth pretty girl had decided to devote all of herself to His Majesty the Arts. During her long life she experienced many worries and troubles, difficulties and trials, but grateful audience remembered her as a talented performer.
Firebird of Russian Ballet, one of the brightest of its stars was born on March 9, 1885, into an intellectual family in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. Her father Platon Karsavin was a dancer at the Mariinsky Theatre, and also taught at the Drama School. Tamara was a sister of the historian and philosopher Leo Karsavin. Six-year old girl knew her main passion was the theater. Supported by her mother, Tamara began preparing to enter the Theatre School.
Immediately after graduation in 1902, Tamara joined the Mariinsky Theater, where Matilda Kshesinskaya, a prima ballerina and a dance teacher, was fond of her. However, another talented performer, Anna Pavlova, disliked the young dancer. Perhaps Pavlova saw in the beginning artist her rival and competitor.

Edita Piekha is a popular singer and actress in Russia and in the states of the former Soviet Union, People’s Artist of USSR (1988). A peculiar Polish-French accent, from which the performer wanted to get rid of, only added mystery to her image. Today Edita’s compositions are the Golden Fund of Soviet and Russian pop. Russian Edith Piaf, so she is called in the West, is loved and known far beyond Russia.
Awesome girl was born on July 31, 1937 in Nual-su-Lance, France.
In 1946 young Edita with her mother and stepfather, returned to Poland. There she studied at the Walbrzych State College of Pedagogy, graduating with honors in 1955, majoring in Russian language. That same year she was sent on a scholarship to continue her studies at the Leningrad State University. There she studied Psychology and languages, and also was active in student concerts as a singer.
By the way, she was invited by Russian composer Aleksandr Bronevitsky to perform with his band Druzhba (Friendship) in the popular TV show New Year’s Eve on December 31, 1955.

Natalia Gulkina is a Soviet and Russian pop singer, former lead singer of the Russian female pop group Mirazh.
Cute girl was born on February 20, 1964 in Moscow.
To tell the truth, Natalia tried to enter musical school, but failed at the first examination due to the absence of support. One year later Gulkina tried again and began to sing in a jazz studio. There, in 1987, she was noticed by composer Andrei Lityagin. He was looking for soloists for the new project Mirazh. In summer 1988 Gulkina left the band due to financial disagreements. Andrei Razin persuaded Natasha to work together.
In January, 1989 Natasha and composer Leonid Velichkovsky released the first album My Little Prince. The new band was named Zvyezdy (Stars). But in 1992 the band’s name disappeared from posters.
