Tamara Karsavina was loved, respected and admired. You know, she was always away from any kind of intrigue. In her youth pretty girl had decided to devote all of herself to His Majesty the Arts. During her long life she experienced many worries and troubles, difficulties and trials, but grateful audience remembered her as a talented performer.
Firebird of Russian Ballet, one of the brightest of its stars was born on March 9, 1885, into an intellectual family in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. Her father Platon Karsavin was a dancer at the Mariinsky Theatre, and also taught at the Drama School. Tamara was a sister of the historian and philosopher Leo Karsavin. Six-year old girl knew her main passion was the theater. Supported by her mother, Tamara began preparing to enter the Theatre School.
Immediately after graduation in 1902, Tamara joined the Mariinsky Theater, where Matilda Kshesinskaya, a prima ballerina and a dance teacher, was fond of her. However, another talented performer, Anna Pavlova, disliked the young dancer. Perhaps Pavlova saw in the beginning artist her rival and competitor.

She is well known as a wife of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. Seven years after his death Natalia married General Pyotr Petrovich Lanskoy.
Nataliya Nikolaevna Goncharova (Pushkina, Lanskaya in her second marriage) was born on September 8, 1812 in Tambov Province. Her family lived there during the occupation of Moscow by Napoleon’s forces. The girl was the fifth child of seven children. Her youngest sister Sophia was born and died in 1818. Pretty Natalia got a good education at home. She studied Russian and world history, geography, Russian language and literature, French, German and English.
Pushkin met Natalia Goncharova in Moscow in December 1828 at a ball. The beauty and grace of the girl made an indelible impression on the poet. 16-year-old girl was one of the most talked-about beauties of Moscow. Pushkin was 13 years older than Natalia.

Oksana Grigorieva (born Oksana Chernukha) is a Russian-American pianist, singer and songwriter.
Pretty girl was born on February 23, 1970 in Saransk into a family of professors of music. She has a younger sister, Natalia. At the age of three Oksana began playing the piano. Then she studied at the local music school and graduated from the Kazan Conservatory. After graduating from the Conservatory at the age of 20 Grigorieva moved to London, where she continued her education at the Royal College of Music.
While working as a model, the beautiful girl was noticed by photographer Patrick Hansen, Cousin of Prince Charles and the official photographer of the royal family. After that, her photos began to appear in many fashion magazines. At first, she worked under the name Chernukha, but later changed it to her mother’s name – Grigorieva.
Later Oksana moved to the U.S., where she lived in New York and Los Angeles. Amazing girl worked as a music teacher.

Oksana Kolesnikova – Russian-American composer

Oksana Kolesnikova is a Russian-American composer, concert pianist and entrepreneur, environmental activist through Cool Green. Awesome Oksana is the owner of Oksana School of Music and Oksana’s School of Foreign Languages in Los Angeles, California.
Beautiful girl was born in 1987, in Barnaul, Altai region, Siberia. At the age of five she began playing the piano. In 1993, after the break-up of the Soviet Union, at the age of 15, she and her family immigrated to the United States. They settled in St. Petersburg, Florida, where Oksana entered the St. Petersburg College.
Famous Kolesnikova became a winner of Florida State Young Artists Symposium Competition in 1999. Two years later, in August 2001 the girl graduated from the School of Music, Florida State University.
By the way, Kolesnikova became the first Russian-American female pianist to travel overseas to entertain the U.S. Troops in 2003.
