Sergeanne Golon is a literary pseudonym of Simone Changeux and her husband Vsevolod Golubinov. By the way, the novelist duo is also known as Anne and Serge Golon (Fr. Anne et Serge Golon). Their novels were read in France, Germany, and the USSR. When the movie with Michele Mercier in the title role was filmed the spouses became famous.
Angelique first appeared in bookstores in 1956 under the name of Anne Golon. Serge was looking for historical information. Then the names of both of them were on the covers.
A series of French historical adventure books is about blond, green-eyed beauty. The action took place during the time of Louis XIV of France, although a few of the books take place in other locations. According to Anne Golon, her husband was the prototype of Angelica’s husband – Joffrey de Peyrac.
Vsevolod Golubinov, later known as Serge Golon (1903–1972), was a Russian aristocrat. He was born in Bukhara, Turkestan, where his father was the Tsar’s consul. Actually, Vsevolod was a writer and artist, who knew eleven languages.

Vladislav Nagornov is a Russian painter, who graduated from the Penza Art College, then from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. You know, Vladislav is a Member of the Russian Union of Artists (since 2001).
He was born in 1974 in Penza. The boy began painting at the age of six.
His works are in private and corporate collections in Russia and abroad.
By the way, Vladislav is fond of history. He needs a lot of information to recreate the characters, costumes, decorations and interior parts. Actually, he carefully studied the works of the great artists of that time – Ilya Repin, Vasily Surikov, Sergey Ivanov and many others.
Nagornov shows us the beauty of Russian girls and women, as well as reminds us of the great history of Russia.

Anna Ioannovna – Russian Tsaritsa


Anna Ioannovna Romanova was Empress of Russia from 1730 to 1740. You know, she was the niece of Peter the Great.
The girl was born on February 7, 1693 into the royal family in the Moscow Kremlin. Her parents, Tsar Ivan V and Tsarina Praskovia Feodorovna, raised two more daughters: the elder Ekaterina and the younger Praskovya. From an early age Anna, along with her sisters, was taught Russian language, arithmetic, geography, dances, German and French.
In 1696 Ivan died, and the widowed queen with the children was forced to leave the Kremlin chambers and move to the Izmaylovo country residence. And in 1708 the family moved to St. Petersburg. Soon the Swedes launched an offensive against the northern capital, and relatives of Peter I had to return to Moscow.
Peter’s troops could not prevail in the Northern War. The Russian emperor needed support from the Prussian and Courland rulers. In 1709, the Russian troops occupied Courland. Diplomatic negotiations were held with the King of Prussia, Friedrich Wilhelm I. It was decided to make an alliance between two dynasties.

Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya is a Russian photographer, editor in chief of 7 Days magazine, literary translator from English and French into Russian, journalist. As a photographer, she is best known for the series of photos called Private Collection, which was published in the magazine Caravan of Stories. Elena Obraztsova and Vladimir Spivakov, Inna Churikova and Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, Anatoly Karpov and Valentin Yudashkin, Konstantin Khabensky, Iosif Kobzon and many other famous people took part in this project.
Famous Russian women took part in the project Film Divas. Valeriya and Elizaveta Boyarskaya, as well as Kristina Orbakaite and Olga Drozdova, Olesya Sudzilovskaya and others were among them. The photos allow viewers to see celebrities in very unusual perspectives. They arouse the viewer’s interest in classical art, as well as in the history of costume and fashion.
Katya was born on July 17, 1957 in Moscow into the family of famous Russian poet Robert Rozhdestvensky, and literary critic Alla Kireyeva.

Anastasia Chizhova’s gallery presented a unique porcelain dolls exhibition – From Russ to Russia. Every doll is very colorful and lively.
Olina Wentzel was dolls’ “mother”. Her works are shown in museums and exhibitions. Also awesome dolls were bought for private collections in Moscow, Amsterdam, New York, Venice, Paris, Copenhagen. The Royal Houses of Europe, the Churchill family, Mireille Mathieu, Paul McCartney and many other celebrities have Olina’s porcelain ladies and gentlemen in their collections.
The exhibition From Russ to Russia was dedicated to Russian rulers and historical figures.
I’d like to tell you some words about Olina.
Olina Wentzel was born on December 2, 1938 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
She was a Russian theater painter and was awarded the honorary title Master of the museum doll.
