Dima Loginoff is one of the few Russian designers who have achieved fame in the western world.
The boy was born in January 1977 in Moscow. He graduated from the International School of Design (Moscow) and Interior Design School Rhodec in the UK.
By the way, he has worked for world famous brands including VitrA, Microsoft, Elle Decoration, Studio Italia Design and others.
In 2007 at the Design Debut competition in Moscow, he won the Grand Prix for a number of works, including a Brushwood carpet, which is exhibited in the galleries AVANT GALLERY in Miami.
Later, in 2012, he was awarded two of the most prestigious awards in the world – an iF product design award and a Red Dot product design award for five ceramic tile collections he had designed for VitrA.

One of the brightest, original and talented poetesses of the Silver Age Anna Gorenko, better known as Anna Akhmatova, lived a long life full of tragic events. This proud and at the same time fragile woman was a witness of two revolutions and two world wars. Her soul was oppressed by repression and death of the closest people. By the way, she was one of the greatest Russian poets of the XX century, writer, literary critic and translator.
Pretty girl was born on June 11 (23), 1889 in Odessa, Russian Empire. Her family moved to Tsarskoye Selo, near St. Petersburg, when she was eleven months old. There were six children in the family.
Anna studied at the Mariinsky High School. Actually, she started writing poetry at the age of 11.
Young Gorenko fell in love with Petersburg forever and considered it the main city of her life. She missed the streets, parks and the Neva, when she had to go along with her mother to Evpatoria, and then to Kiev. Parents divorced when the girl was 16 years old.
She studied law at the Kiev University, but a year later she moved to St Petersburg to study literature.

The girl was born on May 20, 1984 in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region, Russia.
You know, Olga took part in many various competitions. In 2009 she participated in the World of Beauty competition in Moscow and in the Kuzbass Star festival. Later, in 2010, Olga participated in the International Olympic hairdressing and nail design competition Neva Banks in St. Petersburg. And in the same year Olga was the best at Siberia Hairdressing and Make-up Championship (she took the 1st place) in Novosibirsk.
In 2011 the girl went to Moscow again to take part in the Creative Makeup Championship, where she was the fifth. By the way, Olga was the first in the Body Art and Catwalk Make Up at Siberia Championship.
In 2012 she took the sixth place in European Hairdressing, Make-up, Nail Modeling Championship.

Alexander Savatyugin was born in 1967 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). He is a photographer, known primarily as a portrait photographer and author of photos in romantic depressionizm and art-fashion styles.
Sasha was born into a family of Arctic and Antarctic researchers, that’s why he spent his childhood in expeditions and trips. Alexander created one of the first Computer Design Studios in St. Petersburg.
In the late 80s he organized an Institute of New Photography.
Savatyugin is an author of such projects as Laokoonookie, The Martian Chronicles: Man with a gun, Crazy Elsa, History of Women, Woman in the natural and unnatural conditions of existence. Anthropological sketches, and others.

Rodion Shchedrin, great composer


Rodion Shchedrin is a Russian composer and pianist. By the way, he is the winner of the Lenin State Prize (1984), USSR State Prize (1972) and the State Prize of the Russian Federation (1992). Also he is a member of the Interregional Deputy Group (1989–1991).
Shchedrin devoted his life to music. Rodion Konstantinovich was named a classic during his lifetime, and the orchestrations performed by him – brilliant hits with a minimal set of tools and with maximum expressiveness.
The boy was born on December 16, 1932 in Moscow into a family of composer and music theory teacher Konstantin Shchedrin and economist, music lover Konkordiya Shchedrina (nee Ivanova). His first music teacher was the father.
The war prevented his studies at the conservatory. The boy twice tried to flee to the front, and his uncle, a high-ranking official, helped to return the fugitive. Then another mother’s brother took the family to Kuibyshev, where he worked as an assistant to Dmitry Shostakovich. The composer remembered that he had attended the rehearsal of his Seventh Symphony.
In 1955 Shchedrin graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. You know, his first major works were written in his early twenties.

Denis Matsuev is a Russian virtuoso pianist. By the way, he is People’s Artist of Russia (2011) and laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2009). Talented pianist was the winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1998 in Moscow. Also he received the Dmitri Shostakovich Award in Music. His nickname is The Siberian Bear.
The boy was born on June 11, 1975 in Irkutsk, the Russian Federation. He was born into a family of musicians: his mother was a piano teacher, and his father was a well-known pianist and composer. His grandfather worked with a circus orchestra, where he played drums and percussion. The first music teacher of the future star was his grandmother Vera Albertovna.
In Irkutsk, Denis attended an art school and studied at the 11th Mayakovsky school, the oldest educational institution in the city. The first piano teacher was Lyubov Nikolaevna Sementsova. After school, an outstanding musician studied for some time at the Irkutsk Music College, but then continued his studies in the capital.

Vasiliy Kandinskiy (1866-1944) was the famous Russian artist and art theoretician. You know, he was a great master and founder of abstract art.
“Kandinsky calls abstract the content that painting must express, that’s to say this invisible life that we are. In such a way that the Kandinskian equation, to which we have alluded to, can be written in reality as follows: Interior = interiority = invisible = life = pathos = abstract”.
On November 7, 2012 at Christie’s Impressionist and modern art auction in New York Kandinsky’s Study for Improvisation 8 (1909) was sold for $23 Million.
Before this sale, the artist’s last record was set in 1990 when Sotheby’s sold his Fugue (1914) for $20.9 million.
