Proskuryakova Yuliya is an aspiring Russian singer, wife of the famous composer and singer Igor Nikolaev. They got married in 2009. (Igor is 22 years older than Yuliya). In the fall of 2015, Yuliya gave birth to their daughter Veronica.
The girl was born on August 11, 1982 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). From 13 to 17 years old Yuliya was a part of the VIA Alyonushka.
Actually, Yuliya hasn’t got any special musical education, but she has a natural vocal talent.
She is the constant participant of many young performers’ contests.
In 2004 Proskuryakova graduated from the Ural State Law Academy. You know, she participated in the competition among the students of the Russian universities Voice of Russia-2000 in Samara. There Yuliya received the Audience Award and the Special Jury Prize.
In addition, Yuliya took part in the musical TV projects Popstars, People’s Artist, and Musical Ring.

In 2008, the singer participated in the creative evening of Igor Nikolaev in Jurmala in the contest of young singers New Wave. The following years she also performed in Jurmala and was invited as a guest of the contest.
Proskuryakova sometimes participates in Valentin Yudashkin’s Spring Concert show in the Kremlin, Song of the Year, Best Song and other major concerts of the country.
In March 2011, a big concert One Hope for Love was held in the Kremlin Palace.
Her first solo album You’re My Happiness was released in 2013. In the same year Yuliya debuted in the film Provincial Muse, where she played the role of a singer Vicki Mironova. Also she starred as the Secretary of the Latvian Embassy in the film DED 005. The film Tili-tili-testo was released in May 2014, in which Yuliya played the role of matchmaker Lyudmila.
Since July 2017, she has been studying at the directing department of the State Institute of Theatrical Art (GITIS).
As for me, Yuliya looks like Igor’s ex-wife Natasha Koroleva.
