Noize MC

Ivan Alekseev, better known as Noize MC, is a Russian rock musician, hip-hop singer, songwriter and actor. He is famous because of the numerous Lo-Fi compositions. His music combines the features of several styles. The artist described his work as modern urban music at the turn of the hip-hop, punk, reggae and break beat. You know, he is an author of seven studio solo albums, four singles.
The boy was born on March 9, 1985 in Yartsevo, Smolensk region. His father was engaged in music. In 1994, the parents divorced and the mother took her son and moved to Belgorod. When Ivan was 8 years old, he began to write poems and was fond of music. The boy graduated from music school.
In 1998 and 2000, Ivan participated in the regional contests of young musicians and each time received the first place.
Being a fan of guitar rock music (punk rock), at the age of 13 Ivan formed his first band. Together with his classmate Arkady, aka Adik 228, Ivan participated in a local rap group VIP. Later Noize MC and Adik formed a rap duo Face2Face. The group participated in many regional festivals, competitions and concerts.

In 2002 musician entered the Russian State University for the Humanities. He had to leave the group and moved to Moscow. There in 2003 he founded the alternative rock band Protivo Gunz. On September 9, 2006 the group won national competition Urban Sound.
You know, his debut album The Greatest Hits vol. 1 was released in 2008.
By the way, Ivan was 2009RAMP Award winner in the category RUnet Respect.
In 2010, he took the 41st place in the ranking of 50 Stars according to Forbes magazine.
Alekseev entered top 10 Most Influential People of Russia in 2010 according to the Russian Reporter magazine. Besides, he was nominated in the category Best Russian Artist at MTV Europe Music Awards 2010.
Also he was awarded Rain Man prize for “a public protest against the government”.

Many of his songs, such as Mercedes S666, Smoke Bamboo, Moscow Is Not Rubber, Our Movement, Heroin Fest, are his response to the social problems.
The song Mercedes S666 was written in a day after the sensational accident involving the vice-president of Lukoil Anatoly Barkov. The court stated that Anatoly was innocent in an accident that caused deaths of Vera Sidelnikova and Olga Alexandrina.
Moreover, Noize MC played the main role in the movie Prank (2008). He also starred in Baby (2012) and Hard Reboot (2014).
In 2015 the artist performed at the international music festival Barents Spektakel in Norway.
To tell the truth, the musician participates not only in commercial projects. Ivan cooperates with the charity fund Sunflower. In mid-November, the singer received the main Music Box 2015 award in the Hip-Hop of the Year nomination at the award ceremony held at the State Kremlin Palace.
Later, in 2016, the artist presented the seventh album King of the Hill. In spring, the cover version of Victor Tsoi‘s song The Last Hero was released.

Personal life
In 2008, at one of the concerts, Ivan met girl Anna, who soon became his wife. They have two sons – Vasily (born in 2008) and Mikhail (born in 2012).
