Natasha Koroleva is a Russian singer, who became famous when she was only 16 years old. Beautiful Natasha is a Soviet, Ukrainian and Russian pop singer, actress and fashion model, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2004)
Natasha Poryvai (her real surname) was born on May 31, 1973. She grew up in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, in a creative family. Her father was a choirmaster of the Academic Choir, and mother was a choral conductor, Honored Artist of Ukraine. The singer has an older sister Ira.
The first song she sang was Cruiser Aurora at the annual congress of the Komsomol.
In 1987, Koroleva won the Golden Kamerton music prize.
At the age of 7 the girl entered music school, where she learned to play the piano.

In the summer of 1989, Koroleva went on tour in the United States, where she was offered to study at the elite University of Rochester. However, the girl refused and went to Moscow.
The first meeting with composer Igor Nikolayev was arranged by Koroleva’s mother. Immediately after the meeting Nikolayev wrote a song Yellow Tulips, which launched Koroleva’s success both within the USSR and internationally. The song reached the finals of the Song of the Year festival.
By the way, the singer’s first album was released in 1990 and Koroleva became a popular star.
A fourteen-year age difference separated the composer and the young singer, and at first, they hid their love affair. The two were officially married in 1990. Koroleva and Nikolayev worked together, toured Russia with their show, titled The Dolphin and the Mermaid.
After ten years of happily married life, Nikolayev and Koroleva announced they were separating. In 2001 they divorced.
Koroleva’s decision to begin a solo career provoked a hostile reaction from her husband.
Natasha participated in the TV shows Dancing with the Stars (in Russia and Ukraine) and Two Stars with her second husband, Sergey Glushko (better known as the male stripper Tarzan). Their son Arkhip was born in February 2002. And a year later the couple got married. By the way, Tarzan graduated from the Space Academy.
In 2003, the singer graduated from GITIS. Koroleva appeared in several film roles, including Recipe Witch and The Cheerful Family 2, the latter for Ukrainian television. Also she released jewelry collection Daughters-Mothers in 2008. Besides, she published the novel Male Striptease in 2009.
Now Koroleva continues her career, tours, records solo albums, as well as sings in a duet with her spouse.
