Mariya Gorban is a Russian film and theater actress. She was born on December 26, 1986 in Izhevsk into a family of actors. Her father, Alexander Gorban, was an actor, then became a director of the Drama Theatre, her mother was an actress too. When the girl was six years old her family moved to Moscow.
In 2007 Mariya graduated from GITIS and her graduation performances were Nameless Star by Mikhail Sebastyan, Three Sisters by A.P. Chekhov and Mandate by Nikolai Erdman.
Mariya first appeared on the screen in the popular youth television series The Simple Truth. It was her brother Alexei Sutyagin, actor in the TV series, who invited her.
In 2004 the beautiful girl starred in the music video for Irakli Pirtskhalava’s song Time. She also starred in Ed Shulzhevsky’s music video for the song Nastya.
In 2008 Maria Gorban played the main role in the TV series I’m Flying.
In February 2010, girl’s candid photos appeared in MAXIM magazine and on June 2011 her photo was on the cover of XXL magazine.
In April 2012 Mariya became the co-host of the program “90 × 60 × 90” on the Russia-2 channel.
Mariya was married to Slovak football player Jan Dyuritsa. The couple broke up in 2011.
On October 22, 2013 she married Oleg Filatov. On September 7, 2014 the actress gave birth to a daughter.
