Karina Gurina – Miss MAXIM 2012

Karina Gurina is a famous fashion model, winner of the title “Miss Bikini 2009” in the Crimea, as well as the winner of “Miss Maxim” in August 2012.

Gurina was born on March 31, 1992 in the city of Yalta. Later the family moved to Moscow, where Karina graduated from school and entered the Russian State University of Trade and Economics.
Karina was very active and athletic kid. She was engaged in Latin American dancing and rhythmic gymnastics. As a teenager, she was fascinated by extreme sports: mountain climbing and skydiving.
Since her childhood she dreamed of becoming a famous person.

She tried to be a model, but Karina didn’t fit the standard of female beauty 90-60-90 (her proportions 93-56-93).
And she went the other way, Karina won the title of “Miss Bikini 2009” – a prestigious competition of the Crimean Republic. In 2010 she received the title of “Miss University”. And in August 2012 became “Miss Maxim”.
Now she plans to take part in the contest “Miss Russia” and win it!
Karina likes to take pictures, draw, read and she plays in amateur theater. She took part in talk shows, Comedy Club, New Year’s movie “Sherlock Holmes”. In 2011 Karina became a participant of the reality show “Good night, guys”.

On September 29, 2012 at the airport “Domodedovo” Karina was kidnapped. It happened when she and her sister Galina arrived from Spain. Suddenly a stranger pushed the model into a black car. Galina was shocked, Karina did not answer the phone.
On September 30 the model came home. “One man began to push me into the car. I was screaming. He said to be quiet and everything would be OK. He brought me to his house, handed flowers, arranged a dinner with candles, wine, music and all this romantic tinsel. After dinner he presented me with an expensive necklace. I spent the night in his house. There was not any sexual harassment.” – said Karina. She didn’t call the police.
