Igor Vernik – Russian actor, TV presenter
Russian actor and popular TV presenter Igor Vernik was born on October 11, 1963 in Moscow into a family of Union Radio director, People’s Artist of Russia and music teacher.
In his childhood Igor studied at music school.
Vernik successfully entered the Moscow Art Theater and after graduation he was invited to work at the Moscow Art Theatre. Igor has played in “King Lear”, “The Pickwick Club”, “The Pit”, “Tartuffe” etc. Besides, he has starred in more than a dozen films. But he became popular among viewers as a presenter of different television shows. He started with the TV program “It’s easy” on TVC channel, then there were such programs as “For You”, “Nightlife cities in the world”, “Seventh Sense “, “Good morning “, “Saturday Night with Star”, “Rec -time”.
Vernik is a theater and film actor, producer and musician, TV presenter.
Fame came to Igor in the early 1990s thanks to his irresistible smile.
In his free time Vernik writes songs. In spring 2012, he recorded his first solo album. Igor composed music for the film “Women’s Friendship”, in which he also starred.
Together with his twin brother Vadim, Igor is a radio host on Radio Russia.
Igor’s brother Vadim Vernik is a popular radio and television presenter. And his second brother Rostislav, who is 9 years older than Igor, also graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School and became an actor.
However, Igor is the most popular in the family. In 1998 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
Igor met his wife Maria in the shop. He saw a pretty girl and immediately wanted to date with her, but he didn’t come up. So, fate cannot be fooled – almost one month later he met Maria again in the same shop.
As a result of their love, long-awaited child, son Grisha was born in 1999. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last long, in 2009, Maria and Igor divorced.
