Eva Polna, Russian singer
Eva Polna is a Russian singer, ex-member of the band “Guests from the future”.
She was born on May 19, 1975 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia. As a child, the future singer was fond of science fiction and dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Little Eva loved to sing and dance. Her idols were ballerina Anna Pavlovaand jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald.
In 1991, Eva entered the St. Petersburg Academy of Culture and Arts. In 1994 the girl appeared on the stage as a dancer and backing vocalist of St. Petersburg rap group A-2. However, a year later, the singer left the band. She performed in various St. Petersburg clubs, where she sang the classic rock ballads. She could sing for hours, her personal best was Five hours without a break.
The girl’s career has changed after meeting with Yuri Usachev in 1997. A young man was searching for a singer for his own musical project. The project was called “Guests From The Future”. Their debut concert was held on 8 March 1998 in a night club “Titanic”.
Eva and Yuri became popular after the release of the song “Cry – cry, dance – dance” written in dream-house style.
Eva was not only the lead singer, but also a songwriter, producer, designer of all stage costumes for the band.
They have recorded 12 albums and 4 singles.
In 2009, Polna left the band and began her solo career.
Murat Nasyrov and pop band Vintage dedicated their songs to Eva.
Her personal life is as original and unusual as her songs. There were a lot of rumors about her love affairs with celebrities, with men and women.
Eva is a mother of two daughters. Her older daughter Evelin was born in 2005. The girl’s father is Denis Klyaver, soloist of the band “Tea for Two”.
Then Eva married businessman Sergei Zhukov and in 2007 gave birth to her second child Amalia. Eva and Sergei divorced.
