Ornella Muti is a legend of the world cinema, talented actress, outstanding personality and just a very beautiful woman.
Charming Italian actress was born on March 9, 1955. Her real name is Francesca Romana Rivelli. Her maternal grandparents were Russian nobles and had to leave Russia in 1917. They immigrated from Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg, Russia) to Estonia. She has an older sister, Claudia (born in 1951). Unfortunately, her father died when the girl was 10 years old.
At the age of 13 Ornella worked as a model for the Italian magazine – Fotoromanzi. At the same time she began working as an artist’s model and posed nude for erotic magazines.
To tell the truth, the girl never dreamed of becoming an actress. Her sister Claudia persuaded Ornella to go with her to a casting for a new film. And the girl received the role in the film The Most Beautiful Wife, which became her debut one.
You know, Ornella has primarily worked in Italian films, but she made her British film debut as Princess Aura in Flash Gordon in 1980. American movies she appeared in include Oscar (1991) and Once Upon a Crime (1992).
Muti was voted The Most Beautiful Woman in the World in 1994 by a worldwide poll of readers of the Class magazine.

Tatyana Vedeneyeva is a popular Soviet and Russian actress and TV presenter. She was born on June 10, 1953 in Stalingrad (now Volgograd). At the age of 14, perky girl together with her friend joined the theater club and was fascinated by the theater seriously. Later, she secretly sent a letter asking the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) to tell her about the entrance exams. Oddly enough, the answer came. When her parents saw a letter from Moscow, they were shocked. Father wanted his daughter to be a teacher and mother wanted her to become a doctor. But Tatyana insisted on her choice.
In 1972, Vedeneyeva went to Moscow. For her entrance exams Tatyana prepared a strange repertoire, instead of classics she read Ugly Duckling.
A year later, in 1973, a freshman starred in her first film. It was a comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Next year Vedeneyeva appeared in the TV series Police Sergeant, where she played with Oleg Jankowski. Then followed the drama Hello, Doctor.

Anastasia Vertinskaya is a famous Soviet-Russian film and theater actress.
Future star of Soviet cinema was born on December 19, 1944 in Moscow, in a creative family. Her father was a composer, legendary Russian singer, actor, poet Alexander Vertinsky, and her mother was a painter and actress Lydia Vertinskaya (Tsiagvava). Anastasia’s elder sister Marianna is also an actress, she worked in the Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre.
Father taught sisters to love art, music and literature, because he believed that, regardless of their future profession, daughters must be fully developed.
In 1961, being a schoolgirl Vertinskaya played her debut role of Assol in the movie Scarlet Sails directed by Alexander Ptushko, based on Alexander Grin’s novel.
Cute girl became famous, even though she did not know how to behave and what to do in front of the camera.

Valentina Titova is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress. She was born on February 6, 1942 in Kaliningrad, Moscow region. In her youth, Valentina debuted at the Palace of Culture, then worked in Sverdlovsk Youth Theater, and then became a drama theater actress.
From 1970 to 1992 she was the actress in the studio theater in Moscow.
During her acting career Titova has played more than 50 roles. Her most famous roles she played in the movies: Blizzard (1964), Shield and Sword (1968), Dangerous Corner (1972), Days of Tobin (1976), Petrovka 38 (1979), Carnival (1981), The Testament of Professor Dowell (1984).
Among her recent works are roles in Yevgeny Matveyev’s melodrama Love Russian Style, Alexander Hwang’s crime film Dying Is Easy, TV series Another Life by Elena Raiskaya, Martiros Fanosyan’s comedy Unexpected Joy.

Lyudmila Chursina is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress, People’s Artist of the USSR (1981).
Lyuda Chursina was born on July 20, 1941 in Stalinabad (now Dushanbe) on the way to evacuation. Her home town is Velikie Luki, Pskov region. According to Lyudmila Alekseyevna, she did not plan to become an actress and wanted to enter the aviation institute. However, her friend, who dreamed of becoming an actress, invited Lyudmila to go with her to Moscow.
So, in 1959 they graduated from school and went to Moscow to enter the institute. Unexpectedly Chursina was admitted to three theater universities: Cinematography, GITIS and Shchukin Theater School. In 1963 she graduated from the Shchukin Theater School.
Chursina’s film debut took place in 1961 in the film When the Trees Were Big, in which she played together with Yuri Nikulin and Leonid Kuravlev.

Alla Nazimova was a great and very bright Russian star of Hollywood silent films and theater, a screenwriter, and film producer.
Miriam Edez Adelaida Leventon (her real name) was born in 1879 in Yalta, Crimea, Russian Empire. She was the third child in a Jewish family. Her parents divorced in 1887 and the girl lived with her father, who in the same year married again. From 1890 to 1893, Adelaide Leventon studied at the Yalta Girls’ Gymnasium. In 1893, Adelaide moved to her mother’s family in Odessa, where she entered the gymnasium and the music classes of the Odessa branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society. Three years later seventeen-year-old Adelaide went to Moscow, where under the pseudonym Alla Nazimova began taking lessons at the Moscow Art Theater. During the studies she had a love affair with a famous millionaire, and after a painful break up she left school and began to play in the regional theater.

Awesome Regina gained great popularity in Paris, where she was called the most beautiful weapon of the Kremlin, later she was called Soviet Sophia Loren.
Regina Nikolayevna Zbarskaya was born on September 27, 1935 in Vologda (according to another source Leningrad region).
In 1953, seventeen-year-old Regina Kolesnikova came to Moscow and entered the VGIK, the Faculty of Economics. During her studies, she began to visit bohemian parties, where one day she was noticed by well-known Vera Aralova. As a result of that meeting Regina started her modeling career. Bright brunette with a beautiful face and gentle manners immediately attracted attention. She became the queen of the catwalk.
