Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina won a gold medal in the duet competition in synchronized swimming at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. They were the only team in Russia, who won two gold medals at the London Olympics.

Natalia Ishchenko was born on April 8, 1986 in Smolensk, Soviet Union. At the age of 14 she moved to Moscow to train at the famous Olympic water sports center. The girl won a gold medal in team competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics. And she won gold in the duet competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics. By the way, she can hold her breath for 3.5 minutes.

The girl’s younger sister Nailya Mustafina is also engaged in gymnastics and she is a master of sports. But after the injury the girl left professional sports, participating in amateur competitions.

Anastasia Davydova was born on February 2, 1983 in Moscow. She is 13-times World champion, seven-time European champion, five-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming.
The International Federation of Water Sports recognized Davydova as the best swimmer of 2000-2009.
At the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, Anastasia also won three top awards. And according to the results of the championship, the Russian team won all the gold medals in all kinds of synchronized swimming.

Pretty girl was born on January 19, 1979 in Belgorod. The parents of the sportswoman are from Mordovia. They came to Belgorod to work, but stayed there for a long time. Her father worked as a builder, and mother was a nurse in a kindergarten.

Then the girl started swimming. Alena did not show much success in the pool, but she was seriously interested in snowboarding. At first it was just a fascinating hobby for the future champion.
In 2009 Alena won silver at the Junior World Cup and was the second at the European Cup.
On January 19, 2011 Zavarzina became world champion in parallel giant slalom. She won a gold medal at the FIS Snowboarding World Championships in Telluride, Colorado.
