Russian celebrities such as Andrey Bartenev, Olesya Sudzilovskaya, Konstantin Kryukov, Ksenia Sobchak, Olga Rodionova, Elena Korikova, Maria Malinovskaya, Sergey Lazarev and other persons of Russian show business took part in a photo project Vintage, dedicated to the masterpieces of cinema. Russian stars appeared in the images of the legendary figures of world cinema of the last century. The authors of the project tried to recreate the atmosphere of such films as Gone With the Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Bonnie and Clyde, Casablanca, Shanghai Express, Cabaret, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Pink Panther and some others.

Nikas Stepanovich Safronov (real name Nikolay) was born on April 8, 1956 in Ulyanovsk. The artist has four elder brothers and a younger sister.
The creative biography of Nikas began in his school years: the boy copied illustrations from school textbooks and made attempts to develop his own style. At that time, he did not yet associate his future with the fine arts.
After finishing the eighth grade of secondary school, the young man left his native Ulyanovsk. He went to Odessa and entered the nautical school. A year later Safronov moved to Rostov-on-Don, where he entered the Rostov Art College named after M.B. Grekov.

The next film Birthday of the Infanta entered the main competition of Kinotavr. Her movie Everybody Dies But Me was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008. Then it was shown at the Golden Camera contest and was awarded a Special Mention (Mention Speciale) for the best film. In addition, the film director was awarded Nika for the film Everybody Dies But Me in 2009.

Elena Diakonova (Gala’s real name, 1894-1982) was born in Kazan, Russia. She spent her childhood in Moscow where she got a good education. Diakonova graduated from the M.G. Brukhonenko academy for young ladies with a very high average mark.
In 1912 she suffered from tuberculosis, and the family sent her to Switzerland. There she met Eugene Grindel (later known as Paul Eluard). They married in 1917, and the following year their daughter Cecile was born. Because of Diakonova, Paul began to write love poems. And she became his muse, constantly inspired him to create new poems. However, in 1929 Paul met Maria Benz (Nusch), his new muse and future wife.
