Andrei and Alexei Chadov – brothers actors
Andrei Chadov (born on May 22, 1980 in Moscow) and Alexei Chadov (born on September 2, 1981 in Solntsevo, a suburb of Moscow) are Russian film and theater actors.
Their father, Aleksandr Chadov, died in 1986, and both brothers were raised by a single mother. She raised the boy as best friends. Brothers look alike, but they are not twins, there are sixteen months between them.
Andrei and Alexei began acting at school, and then continued as amateur actors at the municipal theatre-studio in Peredelkino.
After graduating from school, Andrei entered the Shchukin Acting School, and then decided to join his brother at the Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow. As a student, Andrei Chadov made his film debut in the film Avalanche (2001) directed by Ivan Solovov. The actor became famous after television series Cadets, where he played one of the main characters – the young Peter Todorovskiy.
In 2004 he starred in a melodrama Russian. For this role, Andrei received the prize as Best Actor at Moscow Premiere festival.
In 2005 Andrei and his brother Alexei starred together in the movie Alive.
Andrei is also involved in the Western film productions; he played in French and British films.
On the set of the TV show Big Race Andrei met Svetlana Svetikova. They were together for five years. In the spring of 2010 the couple broke up.
Aleksei Chadov made his film debut in the film The War (2002) directed by Aleksey Balabanov. In 2002, Alexei received the Best Actor Award at Montreal Film Festival. Soon the young actor starred as Kolya Malakhov in the movie The Nameless Height.
In 2003, film director Andrei Proshkin invited Alexei to play the main role in the drama Moths Games. In the same year the actor played another important role (Kostya vampire) in the blockbuster Night Watch. He also played in such successful films as 9th Rota, Heat, Love in the City-1, 2.
From 2003 to 2005 Alexei was a presenter of TV program Pro Kino (about cinema) on Muz TV channel.
From 2006 to 2009, Alexei dated actress Agniya Ditkovskite, whom he met on the set of the film Heat. A few years later, Alexei and Agniya started dating again and at the end of August 2012 they got married. Their son Fyodor was born on June 5, 2014.
