Alika Smekhova, singer and actress

Alika Smekhova (her real name is Alla) is a Russian actress, pop singer and television presenter, Honored Artist of Russia (2008). She dreamed of becoming a singer and achieved considerable results. However, then she decided to become an actress. And films made Alika well-known in Russia and the CIS countries.
Pretty girl was born on March 27, 1968 in Moscow. Her father Veniamin Smekhov is a well-known and respected actor. The girl’s mother, Alla Alexandrovna, was also closely associated with creativity. At one time she worked as a journalist, and then decided to link her life with the theater, but as a script editor.
When the future actress was 14 years old, Veniamin Borisovich divorced his wife and went to another woman. This event was a real shock for both the young actress and her mother. Alla tried to limit communication with him, because it was hard and painful to see him. Actually, her mother’s salary was not enough to raise two children.

In 1991 Smekhova graduated from the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS).
The girl earned her first fame as a very promising singer of the nineties. The singer made her record while studying at the institute. But it took her 5 years to find a producer who would help with the album’s release. In 1996, Smekhova signed an incredibly lucrative contract with Zeko Records. In the same year, her first album I’m Waiting For You was released. The title track of the album Night Taxi was written by Smekhova at the age of 15. The record was a success, but not a single song was a real hit.
After the end of the contract with Zeko Records she created her own recording studio. In 1999, she released the next album Wild Duck. And three years later the album For You was released. It completed Alika’s musical career.
Her nude photos appeared in the Cosmopolitan magazine in 1999.
By the way, in 2003-2004, Alika was a TV host of the TV show Lonely Hearts Agency on Russia channel.
Nine-year-old Alika took part in the shooting of the popular TV magazine Yeralash. Then, in 1985, she played a young assistant in the lyrical comedy Insurance Agent. A year later, Smekhova took part in filming of the movie Courier.
In addition, she starred in TV series, including Maroseyka 12, The Balzac Age, Sink or Swim and others.

Personal life
At the age of 18 Alika married the future film director Sergey Livnev. They were together for 6 years.
Assyrian George Bedzhamov was her second husband.
Businessman Nikolai became her third husband. Their son Artem was born on May 15, 2000.
But this relationship proved to be short-lived. A few years later, Alika met a man who gave her the second son Makar (born on November 15, 2007). The father having learned about the future child left the actress.
Her close friend, Olga Kabo, is a godmother of her older son Artem.
